What’s interesting about this episode is that it pretty much talks about the hype and hysteria that the media can generate around unproven medical conditions, which is pretty much what happened in Britain around the MMR vaccine a few years ago, until all the fears surrounding it were shown to be completely unfounded. The tragedy of it now though is that there are now a lot of children who haven’t been vaccinated because of the scare and cases of measles have increased, leaving children at risk.
